Welcome to my 12 Months of Cooking Challenge page!
Despite my love for baking, I very much dislike cooking, and truthfully, I’m quite awful at it. I find it tedious, boring, and full of post-eating cleanup that I want nothing to do with. And yet, I love flipping through cooking magazines, drooling over the pictures, reading how the creation was made. I love watching cooking shows. And my gawd, I love to eat!
And so, when I was gifted subscriptions to both Cook’s Country and Cook’s Illustrated (both America’s Test Kitchen publications) for Christmas, I decided to make a challenge of it. For the duration of this year, I will be setting out to make at least one item featured in each of the magazines every month. And who knows, maybe by the end of it, I will actually enjoy cooking… that is, if I don’t poison us first 😉
This page will feature each recipe I take on. To see the recipes, hover over the Cooking Challenge link in the navigation bar at the top of the page, click, and voila.
